It seems HTC is prepping to announce a mid-range spec’d Beats Audio equipped handset at Barcelona’s MWC 2012 event next month. The folks over Stuff.tv website have leaked a render image and some details concerning HTC’s upcoming phone – the HTC Primo. The phone is the above picture is just a mock-up. According to the source, the HTC Primo is rumored be having the following specs:
# Ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
# HTC Sense 4.0 UI.
# 3.7-inch Gorilla Glass protected Super AMOLED display with an unknown resolution.
# 1GHz dual-core processor from Qualcomm.
# 512MB RAM.
# 5 megapixel snapper on the rear side to capture 720p video.
# Beats Audio.
# 9mm thick profile.
The dual-shutter on the rear-facing camera lets you to take photos while taking video at the same time and the fantastic lens are capable of taking decent pictures in less than optimal lighting conditions with its f/2.0 aperture.
There is no word yet on whether or not Beats ear buds will be included with the Primo package. HTC Primo is expected be priced at $389 (~ £250). We will get you more details as soon it gets announced at MWC 2012 event. Stay tuned.
